Tall Ships and Other Fun, Non-AC Activities in Bermuda

The overwhelming story here in Bermuda is the America’s Cup, but this island has much more to offer than foiling catamaran races. Yesterday a fleet of Tall Ships sailed in to Hamilton Harbor as part of the Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ship Regatta. Over 20 Tall Ships from around the world will be visiting Bermuda and 5 other countries to mark the 150th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation through its founders and founding provinces. The parade of ships kicked of the Bermuda Tall Ship Festival (click to view details).

Daily we’re falling more in love with the beauty, climate, culture, and spirit of Bermuda. We’re anchored within a beautiful archipelago that protects the entrance to Hamilton. The wildlife on the nearby islands serenade us while the islands protect us from wind and waves. Within 15 minutes of raising anchor we can be at the AC race course to witness the impressive 50 foot racing cats as they zoom by on their foils. How lucky we are to be here for these amazing races and to experience all that is Bermuda.
