This summer Michelle and I have seen some spectacular sunrises and sunsets and I’ve been wanting to take a time lapse with my new Nikon D7200, but I just haven’t been able to pull it off. When the conditions were right, I had other commitments, or couldn’t get set up for the right shot. I was in NorthEast Harbor, Maine for 2 weeks and had a fantastic location scoped out to shoot from shore, looking back at Roam with the sunset in the background – but for 2 weeks, we never had good conditions to film the sunset. Ugh!
Tonight I finally got a time lapse done that isn’t too bad. I really should have gone ashore to get the footage, but I couldn’t find a location to make that work, so I just set up my camera on the bow and “let her rip.” Sorry for the motion, but it’s really hard to make a 90,000 pound boat sit still for an hour!
Anyway, here’s what I’ve got to share. It’s only 30 seconds long, so easy to watch:
Beautiful–wish we were with you.
